About this subsidy
Clause 12.8 A(4) of Punjab's Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 layers state support on top of the Government of India's Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme. Units eligible under CLCSS get an interest subsidy of 5%, capped at INR 5 lakh per year, for five years from the date of commercial production. Crucially, companies that have already availed CLCSS and exhausted its limit remain eligible on the same terms for this additional state benefit — the state support is not netted against what the centre already paid.

What You Get
A 5% interest subsidy for five years from the date of commercial production, capped at INR 5 lakh per year, given as additional state support to units eligible under the centre's CLCSS. Units that have already drawn CLCSS to its limit still qualify here on the same terms, which makes this the useful clause for anyone who has finished a technology-upgradation loan under the central scheme.
