About this subsidy
Clause 12.8 B(8) of Punjab's Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 gives MSME units a full waiver of, or refund of, stamp duty on the purchase or lease of land and building. On an industrial plot or shed this is usually the largest single transaction cost after the price itself, so the benefit scales with the value of the property being acquired. The policy states 100% of the duty; it fixes no rupee ceiling, so the value depends on the registered consideration.

What You Get
The entire stamp duty on the purchase or lease of land and building is either not charged at registration or refunded afterwards. It applies to both routes to premises — buying a plot or shed outright, or taking one on lease — so the benefit is available whichever way the unit acquires its site.
