Push to Prod Hackathon: Building at the Frontier is a one-day, high-energy, in-person hackathon organised by Anthropic and Elevation Capital as part of Basecamp, Bengaluru’s week-long, community-led tech festival running from August 6th to 12th, 2026. The hackathon challenges participants to build audacious products from India, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI.
Who Should Apply
This hackathon is for builders, developers, product thinkers, and founders who want to create something truly new — not just a feature or a repackaged tool. Teams and individuals with a bias for action and a vision for the next frontier are encouraged to apply.
Theme: Build the Next Audacious
Participants are expected to build:
- A new capability, architecture, or approach that doesn't exist yet (not a repackaging of existing tools)
- A product with a believable path to massive scale and value (not a feature bolted onto an existing workflow)
- Something that makes today’s default way of doing a thing look outdated (not a 20% improvement)
- A new way of interacting with technology: voice, agents that act on your behalf, new input or output modalities (not another app on a screen)
- The layer other products and companies will depend on in five years (not a one-off tool)
Format & Timeline
The hackathon runs for 5 hours of focused building, turning ideas into live prototypes. Mentorship and guidance will be provided by the teams behind Anthropic, Elevation Capital, and ecosystem partners. Participants will have access to powerful AI tools to accelerate their builds. Judging will focus on audacity, execution, and potential impact.
Prizes
$10,000 available in prizes. Winners will also get an exclusive opportunity to join office hours with the Elevation Capital team post-event.
Eligibility
Open to all builders — no specific team size or eligibility restrictions mentioned. Teams are required to build with Anthropic/Claude as a core part of their product, workflow, or intelligence layer.
