About this subsidy
The "Scheme for Assistance to MSMEs for Market Development" was launched under the Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024 by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Rajasthan. This initiative is designed to bolster the growth and market reach of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the state.
The primary objective of the scheme is to provide crucial financial support to MSMEs, enabling them to actively participate in various market development activities. This includes significant national and international trade fairs, industry-specific exhibitions, and vital buyer-seller meets. Such participation is essential for MSMEs to explore new markets, showcase their products and services, network with potential buyers and partners, and stay abreast of industry trends.
This scheme is part of the broader Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024, reflecting the state government's commitment to fostering a vibrant and competitive MSME sector. It is set to remain in effect until March 31, 2029, providing a sustained window of opportunity for eligible enterprises to leverage its benefits. The implementation of this scheme is a collaborative effort, managed through the concerned District Industries & Commerce Centres (DICC) under the guidance of the Department of Industries & Commerce, with the Office of the Commissioner, Industries & Commerce, serving as the nodal agency for state-level supervision and coordination. This structured approach ensures efficient delivery of benefits and widespread accessibility for MSMEs across Rajasthan, contributing to their overall market expansion and economic resilience.

What You Get
This scheme provides significant financial assistance to MSMEs for their market development efforts. The benefits are tiered based on the event location:
- For participation in National/International Fairs/Exhibitions in Rajasthan: MSMEs can receive ₹37,500 or 75% of the stall rent per event, whichever is less, for a maximum of 3 events in a financial year. This also includes actual fare for 3-AC Class Train or AC Bus for 2 persons.
- For participation in National/International Fairs/Exhibitions in other parts of India (outside Rajasthan): Financial assistance of ₹1,12,500 or 75% of the stall rent per event, whichever is less, for a maximum of 2 events in a financial year. This benefit also covers actual fare for 3-AC Class Train or AC Bus for 2 persons.
- For participation in Fairs/Exhibitions organized abroad: MSMEs are eligible for ₹1,50,000 or 75% of the stall rent, whichever is less, for a maximum of 1 event in a financial year. This includes actual economy class airfare for 2 persons.
Benefits are provided as a reimbursement, making it easier for MSMEs to manage upfront costs and later claim the specified amounts. The scheme encourages continuous market engagement but with a cool-off period: after availing a benefit in a particular category, beneficiaries cannot claim it in the same category for the next two financial years, ensuring broader access across MSMEs.
