Quick Answer
RIPS 2024 pays 50% of a manufacturing enterprise's in-house R&D IP costs — patents, copyright, trademarks and GI registration — up to INR 1 crore.
About this subsidy
Protecting what your in-house R&D produces is expensive: drafting, filing, prosecution and renewal fees across jurisdictions add up long before the IP earns anything. The Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024 shares that cost with manufacturing enterprises.
For in-house R&D, the State pays 50% of the cost incurred, up to a maximum of INR 1 crore, for patents, copyright, trademarks and the registration of geographical indicators. All four IP classes sit inside the same ceiling, so a company running an active filing programme can pool them into one claim.
The support is against cost actually incurred, so you file first and claim afterwards under the RIPS 2024 process on Rajasthan's single-window investment portal.

What You Get
The State meets half of what you spend protecting in-house R&D output — patent filings, copyright, trademarks and geographical indication registrations — up to INR 1 crore. The ceiling is generous enough to cover a multi-jurisdiction patent programme rather than a single filing, and all four IP categories draw on the same limit.
