About this subsidy
The Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024 has a dedicated freight line for small units taking their first step into exports. First-time MSME exporters — including existing units that are exporting for the first time — can claim reimbursement of 25% of total freight expenses on goods sent for export through State ICDs and/or the air cargo complex, up to INR 25 lakh per exporting unit per annum.
The eligibility hook is being a first-time exporter, so an established MSME that has never shipped abroad qualifies just as a new unit does. Only exporting units registered within Rajasthan are eligible, and only consignments routed through the state's own inland container depots or air cargo complex count. The ceiling is annual, not lifetime.

What You Get
A quarter of your export freight cost comes back, capped at INR 25 lakh per exporting unit per annum, if you are an MSME exporting for the first time and route consignments through Rajasthan's State ICDs or air cargo complex. Existing units that have never exported before are explicitly covered, so the incentive is designed to de-risk the first shipments rather than reward established exporters.
