Quick Answer
Units dedicated to R&D, GCCs and test labs in Rajasthan can claim 50% of training cost, up to INR 10,000 per person per month for 12 months.
About this subsidy
The Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024 recognises that research staff take longer to train than shop-floor workers, and gives dedicated R&D operations a longer skilling window than the general enterprise line.
An R&D unit, Global Capability Centre or test lab can claim an R&D training incentive of 50% of the cost of training, up to INR 10,000 per person per month, for 12 months. The policy is explicit that the incentive is intended for the complete unit dedicated to R&D — that is, a unit whose whole operation is research, rather than an R&D team sitting inside a larger production facility.
You fund the training and claim reimbursement afterwards, under the RIPS 2024 process on Rajasthan's single-window investment portal.

What You Get
Half the cost of training your research staff is reimbursed, capped at INR 10,000 per person per month and available for twelve months — double the six-month window the general enterprise skilling line allows. The clause is written for the complete unit dedicated to R&D, so GCCs and standalone test labs building specialised teams are the intended beneficiaries.
