Quick Answer
Green-rated existing Rajasthan units with EFCI of at least INR 50 crore pay half the pollution control board consent fee.
About this subsidy
The Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024 halves the consent fee for industries covered by the Rajasthan Green Rating System, and the concession is available to brownfield units as well as new ones.
To claim it on the existing-enterprise route, the unit must already have investments in Rajasthan with Eligible Fixed Capital Investment of at least INR 50 crore, and must not currently be availing benefits under any previous RIPS.
Consent to establish and consent to operate are recurring compliance costs for any industrial unit, so a permanent 50% waiver reduces a fee the plant pays at every renewal. The benefit sits in the green incentives category, whose benefits share a common ceiling and are disbursed over ten years.
