Quick Answer
M-Sand units in Rajasthan get 75% of land conversion charges exempted and the remaining 25% reimbursed.
About this subsidy
Converting agricultural or non-industrial land for plant use attracts conversion charges, and for a manufactured-sand (M-Sand) unit they can be a substantial setup cost. Under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024, 75% of the conversion charge is exempted outright and the 25% that is paid is reimbursed afterwards.
The practical effect is that the charge is fully neutralised, but in two stages: three-quarters is never billed, and the last quarter is paid at conversion and refunded on a claim.
It is one component of the dedicated M-Sand package under RIPS 2024, claimed through Rajasthan's single-window investment portal.
