About this subsidy
The MSME track of the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024 green incentives subsidises 10% of the cost of machinery and equipment that uses clean production technology.
Cleaner equipment usually carries a price premium over conventional plant, which is exactly what stops smaller manufacturers from specifying it. A tenth of the capital cost back narrows that gap on the purchase decision.
The ceiling is INR 1 crore, inclusive of the other benefits the MSME draws in the green incentives category, and green incentive benefits are disbursed over ten years. Claims go through Rajasthan's single-window investment portal under the RIPS 2024 process.
