About this competition
Stellar Hacks: Real-World ZK 2026 is an online hackathon organised by the Stellar Development Foundation, inviting developers worldwide to build zero-knowledge (ZK) applications on the Stellar blockchain. What You Get
Winning submissions share a USD 10,000 prize pool, paid in XLM, split across five places: USD 5,000 for first, USD 2,000 for second, USD 1,250 for third, USD 1,000 for fourth and USD 750 for fifth. Winners also gain visibility within the Stellar developer ecosystem. Alongside the cash, participants get the opportunity to demonstrate their blockchain and cryptography skills, build an open-source ZK project, connect with Stellar developers and ecosystem contributors, create a portfolio-ready Web3 application, and explore privacy-focused financial and identity solutions. Technical support is available through the Stellar Developer Discord and the event's community support channels, and participation is free.
