ThinkForBharat 1.0 is a national online Open Innovation Ideathon organized by Code Capital & Coffee, bringing together students, developers, designers, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs from across India to solve real-world challenges through innovative and scalable ideas.
Unlike traditional hackathons, participants are evaluated on the strength of their problem identification, innovation, validation, feasibility, impact, and business potential rather than a fully developed product.
Who Should Apply
Open to students from all colleges and universities across India. No prior startup or technical experience required. Participation is allowed individually or in teams of 1–4 members. Inter-college and inter-disciplinary teams are allowed.
Tracks / Themes
Participants are free to build solutions across any domain, including: Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare, Climate & Sustainability, EdTech, FinTech, Cybersecurity, Agriculture, Consumer Technology, Future of Work, Social Impact, Governance & CivicTech. A special Smart India Track focuses on Governance, Smart Cities, Rural Development, Public Services, Education, Transportation, Agriculture, Digital India, Infrastructure, Disaster Management, and National Development.
Format & Timeline
The ideathon runs in multiple phases:
- Registration Phase: Register individually or as a team.
- Idea Submission: Teams submit a complete idea proposal and pitch deck.
- Screening Round: All submissions evaluated by an expert panel.
- Mentorship & Final Preparation: Shortlisted teams may receive guidance to refine their ideas.
- Grand Finale – 15 July 2026: Top finalists pitch live before judges, mentors, founders, and industry professionals.
- Winner Announcement: Recognition of winners, certificates, partner acknowledgements, and networking opportunities.
Deliverables
Each team must submit a 10–12 slide pitch deck (PDF) covering: Problem Statement, Target Audience, Market Validation, Existing Solutions & Gap Analysis, Proposed Solution, Innovation & Technology, Business Model, Feasibility & Implementation Plan, Expected Impact, Future Roadmap. Optional: Prototype, MVP, Figma Design, Website, Demo Video, Supporting Documents.
Judging Criteria
Problem Importance (20%), Innovation & Originality (20%), Feasibility & Execution (15%), Market Validation & User Research (15%), Business Potential & Scalability (15%), Business Model (10%), Presentation & Pitch Quality (5%).
Prizes
1st — ₹8,000, 2nd — ₹5,000, 3rd — ₹2,000, Top 20 — .xyz domain, Internships for Winners.
Eligibility
Open to students across India. Teams of 1–4 members. Only one submission per team. All ideas must be original. Plagiarism leads to disqualification. AI tools, no-code platforms, and design tools are permitted. Working prototypes are optional but encouraged.
