About this subsidy
The Training Expense Reimbursement Scheme, part of the 'Package for Large Enterprises in Core (Except Steel) Sector and Solar Power Plants' policy, aims to incentivize employment and skill development within Chhattisgarh's industrial landscape. This initiative provides financial relief to new industries, particularly those in core sectors like Cement, Aluminium, Thermal Power, and Solar Power Plants, by offsetting the costs associated with training their workforce. By reimbursing a portion of training expenses, the government seeks to encourage companies to invest in local talent, enhance the skill sets of Chhattisgarh domicile employees, and promote industrial growth.
This scheme is crucial for fostering a skilled labor force, which is a cornerstone for the sustainable growth of large-scale manufacturing and energy sectors. It supports enterprises in reducing their operational burden related to human capital development, thereby making Chhattisgarh an attractive destination for new industrial investments. The policy underscores the state's commitment to creating a conducive environment for industries while ensuring local employment and skill upliftment.
