Vyaparneeti – Where Business meets Policy
Vyaparneeti is a national public policy case competition organised by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) as part of its International Business & Entrepreneurship Summit, Venix 2026. The competition is presented in association with PPC – IIMB's Public Policy Club. It challenges teams to craft a policy for India that is legally sound, administratively feasible, and financially viable. The proposed policy should tackle real-world challenges at the intersection of governance and enterprise — ranging from sustainability to tech regulation.
Who Should Apply
This competition is open to students from any Indian institution (undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral). Teams can be formed across different institutions, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration. It is ideal for students interested in public policy, law, economics, business strategy, and governance.
Format & Timeline
The competition runs from July 20 to August 8, 2026. All rounds are elimination rounds. Shortlisted teams will receive further details after the initial submission. The event is fully online, allowing participation from anywhere in India.
Prizes
Winner and Runner-up together receive a total cash prize of ₹20,000. Additional prizes worth ₹20,000 are also awarded.
Eligibility
Teams of 2–4 members. Members can be from the same or different institutions. Adherence to deadlines is essential; late submissions will not be accepted. The decision of the organising committee and judges is final.
