About this Opportunity

The ARAMBH program, or Student Entrepreneurship program, is offered under the ICAR-CIRCOT RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri Business Incubator (R-ABI).

It is designed to support student startups at the ideation stage. This grant-in-aid helps agri-startups receive funding to translate their innovative ideas into a Proof of Concept (PoC), providing the initial boost needed for entrepreneurial success.

The call is specifically for entrepreneurs from Maharashtra & Goa working in agriculture and allied sectors.

Eligibility

  • Open to Student Entrepreneurs (Undergraduate & Above).
  • Applicants must be working in the agriculture and allied sectors.
  • Specifically targeting entrepreneurs from Maharashtra & Goa.
  • The stage supported is ideation to Proof of Concept (PoC).

Application Process

  • Pre-screening: Applicants are pre-screened by KPs/RABIs for initial training.
  • RIC Round I: Selection of pre-seed and seed startups after 1 month of training. (Note: ARAMBH is Ideation/PoC stage, but the general R-ABI flow applies.)
  • Release of Funds: Release of the first instalment (or single instalment for pre-seed/student stage).
  • Incubation Workshop: Participants attend a 15-day incubation workshop.
  • SIC: Final fund recommendation / milestone setting by SIC (Startup Incubation Committee).
  • Review: Time-to-time RIC meetings to address startup issues.
