About this grant
The Bharat Byte Semiconductor Accelerator is a strategic CSR initiative by Cadence, in collaboration with AIC IIT Delhi and FITT-IIT Delhi, and supported by AIM-NITI Aayog. It aims to accelerate India’s journey toward technological self-reliance in the semiconductor space.
The accelerator is designed to empower deep-tech startups to design, develop, and scale next-generation semiconductor solutions. The program focuses on innovations in chip design, embedded systems, and EDA tools.
Key offerings include:
- Funding: Seed Grants of up to ₹10 Lakhs per selected startup.
- Incubation: Two years of free incubation at AIC Sonepat (an AIC IIT Delhi facility).
- Technical Support: Access to state-of-the-art labs, EDA tools and prototyping facilities, and technical mentorship from Cadence and IIT professors.
- Community: Government & investor connect opportunities and specialized workshops.
