Agentic AI Hackathon is a two-day, build-first hackathon organised by Product Space, designed for individuals who want to launch a real AI product rather than present ideas or mockups. Running on
19th and 20th September 2026, the event kicks off with a session on Saturday, 19th September, and pushes participants through the complete product journey — from identifying a problem to delivering a functional end product. Who Should Apply The hackathon is open to individual participants as well as small teams, with teams of up to 2 members recommended. It suits builders, students, and early-career developers who want a portfolio-ready AI product and hands-on experience shipping agentic systems. What You'll Build Participants conceptualize, build, and launch a complete agentic AI solution against practical, real-world challenges. The core focus is on AI agents that can think and make decisions, interact with tools, and execute tasks independently. The build journey covers problem identification, system architecture design, integration of tools and APIs, and delivery of a functional end product. By the end, participants walk away with a working AI product that can be added to a portfolio, demonstrated in interviews, or expanded into real-world use cases. Format & Timeline The hackathon runs across two days, 19th and 20th September 2026, entirely online. All development must happen within the hackathon timeframe. Participants are free to use AI tools, APIs, and frameworks, but must clearly document their process from problem to solution to architecture. A functional prototype or live demo is required at submission. Submission Requirements Submissions must include a demo video or live working product, access to the codebase via GitHub or an equivalent platform, and a brief explanation of the solution. Rules & Evaluation Fully pre-built solutions are not allowed, though starter templates are acceptable. Any form of copying or plagiarism results in disqualification. Teams must clearly specify their actual contribution versus AI-generated output. Submissions must be fully working products, not just designs or presentations, and all entries must be submitted before the deadline. Prizes The winner receives ₹5,000, the 1st Runner-Up ₹3,000, and the 2nd Runner-Up ₹2,000. In addition, in-kind prizes worth ₹70,000 are up for grabs, bringing the total prize pool to ₹80,000.
