Quantexa

Quantexa is a national-level 24-hour innovation hackathon jointly presented by HackHere and LeSuccess, hosted at SNS Innovation Hub in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Built around the theme “Think Quantum. Shape the Future.”, the event brings together students, developers, designers, researchers, finance enthusiasts, and technology innovators to create impactful solutions in Quantum FinTech and Software for Social Welfare.

Who It’s For:

• Undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized institutions across engineering, management, arts, science, commerce, law, medicine, and other disciplines.
• Teams of 1–4 members; inter-college, inter-department, and multidisciplinary teams are encouraged.
• Participants may register individually or as a team.

Event Format:

• Dates: 19–20 September 2026 (24 hours, offline)
• Venue: SNS Innovation Hub, Coimbatore
• Registration Fee: ₹1,000 per team
• Registration Deadline: Slot-based (as per the event page)

Hackathon Tracks:

1. Quantum FinTech – Develop financial technology solutions combining quantum or quantum-inspired computing with modern software. Potential areas include quantum-assisted financial modelling, fraud detection, portfolio optimization, credit risk assessment, secure digital transactions, quantum cryptography, AI-powered banking, financial inclusion, and blockchain-based systems. Teams may use quantum simulators, quantum-inspired algorithms, AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, or conventional frameworks.
2. Software for Social Welfare (Police Department) – Build software solutions for real-world public-safety and social-welfare challenges identified by the Police Department. Areas include women’s and children’s safety, emergency response, crime prevention, citizen–police communication, missing-person identification, traffic monitoring, cybercrime awareness, digital complaint management, community policing, and accessibility solutions.

Competition Structure:

• Round 1 (First 2 hours): Problem selection and ideation; teams choose a problem statement and validate ideas with mentors.
• Round 2 (Next 16 hours): Prototype development with mentor interactions and a progress evaluation.
• Round 3 (Final 6 hours): Final submission, presentation (7 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A), and jury evaluation.

Evaluation Criteria: Innovation, relevance to the problem statement, technical implementation, prototype functionality, practical impact, scalability, security, user experience, and presentation quality.

Rules & Guidelines:

• Participants must bring their own laptops, chargers, and development devices.
• Fully pre-built or previously submitted projects are prohibited; existing libraries and open-source tools may be used with disclosure.
• AI tools are permitted if the team understands and takes responsibility for the solution.
• Only authorized, anonymized, simulated, or publicly available datasets may be used for public-safety challenges.
• Plagiarism, misconduct, or unauthorized assistance leads to disqualification.
• Judges’ decisions are final.
