Participants will explore real-world challenges, collaborate within teams, build innovative solutions, and showcase their technical and problem-solving capabilities. Who Should Apply Open to college and university students across India. Inter-college teams are allowed. All team members must satisfy the eligibility requirements specified by the organisers, and participants must carry a valid college/university identity card for verification during the offline round. Tracks / Themes 1. CIPHER — Cybersecurity & Digital Trust: Building safer digital systems, protecting data, and making AI and autonomous technologies more trustworthy. 2. APEX — Autonomous Intelligence & AI Agents: Creating AI systems that can think, make decisions, learn, and perform tasks on their own. 3. PRAGATI — Technology for National Transformation: Using technology to solve real-world problems and create meaningful impact across India. 4. TERRA — Planet, Climate & Resilience: Using technology to tackle climate change, manage resources, and prepare for environmental challenges. 5. ODYSSEY — Open Innovation: An open platform to explore bold ideas and build creative, unconventional solutions to real-world problems of your choice. Format & Timeline The competition is a two-round process. Round 1 is an online idea/PPT submission round (7–25 September 2026). Teams select a track and propose an innovative solution; submissions are evaluated on innovation, relevance, feasibility, technical approach, and overall potential. Shortlisted teams advance to Round 2, the offline 36-hour hackathon at PIEMR, Indore, from 8–10 October 2026. In Round 2, teams receive official problem statements, develop and refine their solutions during the sprint, interact with mentors, and present their solutions before a judging panel. Winners are selected based on official judging criteria announced by the organisers. Prizes The total prize pool is ₹1,25,000, distributed among winning teams (detailed distribution to be announced separately). Top-performing participants may also be considered for paid internship opportunities based on performance, technical skills, problem-solving ability, and overall contribution during the hackathon. Every participant receives a participation certificate. Eligibility Open to college/university students across India. Teams must consist of 2–4 members. Inter-college teams are allowed. All team members must comply with official registration, submission, and participation guidelines. About the Organiser Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research (PIEMR), Indore, is an engineering and management institute that organises national-level student events and hackathons to foster innovation and technical excellence.
