AI Skill Sprint 1.0 is an AI-focused coding challenge hosted by Chandigarh University (CU), Mohali, Punjab. The competition is built for college teams who want to test their practical skills in

artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision against peers from institutions across the country, and to earn recognition for their technical depth in a competitive, judged setting. Who Should Apply Open to teams from all colleges. Teams may be as small as a single participant or as large as four members, so solo builders and full squads are both welcome. There is no restriction to Chandigarh University students — the eligibility explicitly extends to teams from any college. Tracks / Themes The challenge is organised around three core areas: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. Participants are assessed on their grasp of core concepts in these domains as well as their ability to apply them to real-world problems. Format & Timeline The competition runs in two rounds. Round 1 is held online on September 20–21, where all registered teams compete in an AI quiz and a coding challenge. Registration for Round 1 is free. Results are announced on September 22, with the top 50 teams notified and given instructions to pay a ₹200 registration fee to advance. Round 2 is an offline final held on September 24 at the Chandigarh University campus, where shortlisted teams (after fee payment) compete in person. Judging focuses on both conceptual knowledge and hands-on practical skill in machine learning and computer vision. Prizes The competition carries a total cash prize pool of ₹10,000, distributed across the top three teams.
