Dream Forge 3.0 is a case study challenge organised by IEEE DTU and hosted at the Delhi Technological University (DTU) Main Campus in New Delhi. The competition is designed to ignite problem-solving
and entrepreneurial thinking among student teams, who are asked to tackle real-world business problems with creativity and measurable impact. Who Should Apply Open to college students across institutions and specialisations. Cross-college and cross-specialisation teams are explicitly eligible, and multiple teams from the same institution may register. A participant may register with only one team. Format & Timeline The competition runs across three rounds. Round 1 is an online preliminary quiz conducted via Unstop on 10th October — a 30-minute assessment of business, innovation, and current affairs knowledge, attempted only by the registered Team Leader on behalf of the team. Top-performing teams qualify for the on-campus rounds. Round 2 takes place at DTU Main Campus, where qualified teams receive a real-world business problem statement on the spot and get 2 hours to research, brainstorm, and prepare a 3-slide PPT solution (excluding title and annexure slides). Teams may use the internet and publicly available resources for research, but AI tools are not permitted. Round 3 is the final presentation round, also on campus. The same PPT prepared in Round 2 is presented before a jury, with each team getting 7 minutes to present followed by a 3-minute Q&A with the judges. Evaluation is based on understanding, creativity, feasibility, sustainability, and impact. Prizes The winner receives ₹4,000 plus goodies. The First Runner Up receives ₹2,500 plus goodies, and the Second Runner Up receives ₹1,500 plus goodies. All ranked prizes also include certificates. The total cash prize pool is ₹8,000. About the Organiser IEEE DTU is the student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers at Delhi Technological University, New Delhi. The branch runs technical and entrepreneurial events for the university's student community, of which Dream Forge is one. How to Apply Registration closes on 9th October 2026.
