Enigma is the data analytics case competition hosted under Atharv Ranbhoomi, the annual management festival of IIM Indore. It challenges participants to transform raw data into persuasive,

decision-ready business insight — moving beyond number-crunching into the craft of building narratives that shape smarter decisions. What the Competition Involves Participants work with complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, apply statistical and analytical tools to practical business cases, and translate their findings into dashboards, models, and recommendations that stand up to scrutiny. The competition spans the full analytics workflow — from predictive analytics and business intelligence through to stakeholder-facing communication — and rewards teams who can merge technical skill with business acumen. Who Should Apply Undergraduate college students from institutions across India. Multiple teams from the same college are permitted, and cross-college teams are explicitly welcome, making it easy for students to assemble the strongest possible combination of skills. Format & Timeline The competition opens on 13 September 2026 and runs through 1 November 2026, structured across multiple rounds. The final round is conducted in person at the IIM Indore campus, where shortlisted teams present their analysis and recommendations. Detailed round-by-round instructions are shared with participants after registration. Prizes A total prize pool of ₹25,000 is on offer, along with certificates for winning participants. Eligibility Open to undergraduate students from colleges across India. Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. Cross-college teams are allowed, and there is no restriction on the number of teams a single college may enter. About the Organiser Atharv Ranbhoomi is the flagship annual management festival of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, one of India's premier business schools. The festival hosts a portfolio of case competitions, business simulations, and management events that draw participation from institutions nationwide, giving Enigma a competitive field and a credible judging bench.
