Who Should Apply GRAVITON is open to college students across India. Teams of 3–4 members are welcome, and inter-college and inter-specialization teams are encouraged. Whether you are a developer, designer, or entrepreneur, if you are passionate about building with AI and emerging technologies, this hackathon is for you. Tracks / Themes GRAVITON follows an open innovation approach, allowing participants to build solutions across multiple domains. Possible focus areas include: - Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI - Space Tech & Space Exploration - Satellite & Aerospace Innovation - Climate & Sustainable Technology - Smart Mobility & Autonomous Systems - Cybersecurity & Web3 - FinTech & Blockchain - EdTech & Future of Learning - Healthcare & BioTech - Open Innovation Participants are encouraged to think beyond predefined boundaries and create solutions with real-world impact. Format & Timeline GRAVITON is an intense 24-hour offline hackathon where teams will go from idea → design → development → prototype → final pitch. Participants will get 24 hours to collaborate, code, experiment, solve problems, receive mentorship, and build a working solution. The hackathon runs from 30 September to 1 October 2026. The event concludes with a final pitch and jury evaluation, where the top teams showcase their working solutions and compete for the grand prizes. Judging considers innovation, impact, technical implementation, scalability, and presentation. Prizes The total prize pool is ₹1.35 lakhs in cash, distributed as follows: - The Supernova — ₹75,000 — For the team that shines brightest, awarded to the most groundbreaking solution demonstrating exceptional innovation, technical excellence, real-world impact, and execution. - The Nebula — ₹40,000 — For an idea with limitless potential, recognizing a highly innovative solution with strong creativity, scalability, technical implementation, and future potential. - The Cosmic Pioneer — ₹20,000 — For those who dare to explore the unknown, awarded to a team that demonstrates bold thinking, originality, and problem-solving ability. In addition to cash prizes, participants receive exciting swags, goodies, sponsor benefits, certificates, and recognition. There are also potential internship, placement, and incubation opportunities, plus mentorship from industry experts and networking with innovators, recruiters, and tech professionals. Eligibility Open to college students across India. Teams must consist of 3–4 members. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are welcome. Projects must demonstrate genuine innovation and technical effort; plagiarism or copied projects may lead to disqualification. Open-source libraries, APIs, and development tools are permitted. Teams must submit their working prototype, source code, documentation, and pitch/demo. Projects should be developed during the hackathon period.
