Hypnexis 2026 is Manipal University Jaipur's premier 36-hour AI hackathon, designed to bring together the brightest student innovators from across the country. The event provides aspiring developers,

Participants will tackle real-world challenges, build working prototypes, receive guidance from industry mentors, and present their solutions before an esteemed panel of judges for a chance to win exciting prizes and recognition. Who Should Apply Open to all students across various disciplines. Teams can be formed with members from the same or different institutions, allowing cross-college collaboration. The hackathon is ideal for developers, designers, and innovators eager to solve real-world problems using AI. Format & Timeline The competition is structured in three phases: Phase 1 – Hypnexis Aptitude Challenge: An online assessment evaluating technical aptitude, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Teams with the highest scores qualify for the offline hackathon. All participants receive blockchain-based participation certificates, detailed scorecards, performance analytics, and partner perks such as discount vouchers, software credits, and learning platform access. Phase 2 – Offline Overnight Hackathon: Shortlisted teams compete in a 36-hour hackathon at Manipal University Jaipur, starting 24th October 2026. Problem statements are revealed at the commencement of the event. Teams build innovative solutions with guidance from expert industry mentors and present their projects before the Grand Jury. Phase 3 – Offline Grand Finale: Finalists compete on 25th October 2026 at Manipal University Jaipur for the top prizes. Prizes The total prize pool is ₹10,00,000, including cash prizes for the top three teams: Winner – ₹1,00,000, 1st Runner Up – ₹75,000, and 2nd Runner Up – ₹50,000. Additional rewards include placement incentives, paid internships, courses, goodies, hampers, vouchers, incubation opportunities, and letters of recommendation. Blockchain-based certificates are provided to finalists and participants. Eligibility Open to all students. Each team must have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 members. Registration fees apply: ₹699 per team for MUJ students, ₹849 per team for non-MUJ Indian students, and USD 50 per team for international students. International teams may participate online or offline.
