Who Should Apply The competition is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, engineering, and management students, as well as researchers, startups, working professionals, freelancers, and technology enthusiasts. Participants from any recognized college, university, startup, or organization are welcome. Teams must consist of 2 to 5 members, with one nominated Team Leader serving as the primary point of contact. Tracks / Themes Participants can choose from a wide range of innovation domains, including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics & Automation, Smart Manufacturing, FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, AgriTech, Green Technology, Sustainability, Smart Cities, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Software, Mobile Applications, Web Technologies, Open Innovation, Social Impact Solutions, and other innovative technology solutions. Format & Timeline The competition is conducted entirely online. It follows a multi-stage process: Stage 1 – Registration, where teams register online by submitting project details; Stage 2 – Idea Submission, where teams submit problem statement, proposed solution, innovation summary, technology stack, and expected impact; Stage 3 – Screening, where projects are evaluated by industry experts based on innovation, feasibility, technical approach, scalability, and business potential; Stage 4 – Prototype Development, where shortlisted teams develop a working prototype or proof of concept; Stage 5 – Online Presentation, where teams present their solution before the evaluation panel through an online presentation and live demonstration; and Stage 6 – Final Evaluation, where judges evaluate the projects and announce the winners. Evaluation criteria include innovation & originality, problem relevance, technical excellence, solution design, user experience, scalability, feasibility, business potential, social impact, presentation & demonstration, and team collaboration. Prizes The total prize pool is ₹9,00,000, distributed as: 1st place – ₹5,00,000, 2nd place – ₹3,00,000, and 3rd place – ₹1,00,000. Top-performing teams may also receive winner certificates, runner-up certificates, excellence awards, participation certificates, digital badges, internship opportunities at MHTECHIN, pre-placement interview opportunities, mentorship sessions, project showcase opportunities, and industry recognition. Final prize categories and rewards will be announced by the organizing committee. Eligibility Open to students, researchers, startups, working professionals, freelancers, and technology enthusiasts from any recognized institution or organization. Teams of 2–5 members. Each team must nominate a Team Leader. Only original work is permitted; plagiarism or copied solutions will result in immediate disqualification. Teams must own the intellectual property of their submitted work. One participant may be part of only one team unless otherwise permitted.
