About
National Level Hackathon (Hackathon 2.0 – 2026) is a 30-hour, fully offline innovation and technology challenge organised by Shivalik College of Engineering (SCE), Dehradun. It brings together
students, developers, innovators, designers, researchers and aspiring entrepreneurs to build practical, technology-driven solutions to real-world problems. Who Should Apply Open to students, developers, designers, researchers and aspiring entrepreneurs. Teams must have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 members. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged, and members may come from different departments, disciplines or institutions. Each participant can be associated with only one registered team. A recommended team structure includes members with expertise in programming, artificial intelligence, design, domain knowledge, business development, research and presentation. Tracks / Themes The hackathon features seven themes: Infrastructure; Clean and Green Technology; Smart Agriculture; Travel and Tourism; Smart Healthcare; AI or Cyber Security; and an Open Theme. Format & Timeline The event is fully offline and runs for 30 hours on 7–8 October 2026 at Shivalik University, Dehradun. Judging is conducted across three rounds. Dormitory accommodation is available from 6 October to 9 October 2026 morning, and all meals are provided from the night of 6 October to the morning of 9 October 2026. Prizes The cash prize pool is up to ₹2,00,000, with a total cash pool of ₹1,55,000 distributed across ranks. 1st place receives ₹70,000 plus access to incubation and innovation support up to ₹2 lakh; 2nd place receives ₹35,000 plus incubation support up to ₹1.5 lakh; 3rd place receives ₹25,000 plus incubation support up to ₹1 lakh; 4th place receives ₹15,000 plus incubation support up to ₹1 lakh; 5th place receives ₹10,000 plus incubation support up to ₹1 lakh; and 6th–10th places receive access to incubation and innovation support up to ₹1 lakh. Startup incubation support of up to ₹15,00,000 is also mentioned as part of the overall offering. Eligibility Teams of 4–6 members. Each member must complete the required registration process and pay a registration fee of INR 250 per member (₹1,000 for a 4-member team, ₹1,500 for a 6-member team).
