QuHack 2026 is an online hackathon focused on Quantum Computing, Quantum Machine Learning, and emerging technologies, organised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Nuzvid,
as part of the IBM + Qiskit Fall Fest. The event invites students, developers, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to explore the frontiers of quantum computing by solving one of 100 unique problem statements. Who Should Apply The hackathon is open to students, developers, researchers, and technology enthusiasts interested in quantum computing. No prior professional experience is required — participants are encouraged to learn, experiment, and build during the event. Teams of 1 to 3 members can register, either individually or as a pre-formed team. Format & Timeline QuHack 2026 runs as a multi-week online competition from August 30 to October 7, 2026. Participants first register, then choose one of 100 problem statements released for the hackathon. Teams build their solutions using quantum computing concepts and technologies, with a strong emphasis on Qiskit. Submissions include the solution itself along with a presentation or documentation, submitted before the deadline. Entries are evaluated by judges based on innovation, technical implementation, problem-solving approach, and relevance to the problem statement. Winners are announced after evaluation. Prizes The total cash prize pool is ₹1,75,000, distributed as follows: the winner receives ₹1,00,000, the 1st runner-up receives ₹50,000, and the 2nd runner-up receives ₹25,000. Winning teams and outstanding participants also receive certificates and recognition. Special recognition and opportunities from participating industry sponsors may be available.
