Reliance T.U.P XII (The Ultimate Pitch) is a strategic elevator pitch competition organised by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), now in its twelfth edition. Built on the belief that great ideas
aren't anyone's monopoly, the platform connects bold, inventive student ideas with experienced Reliance leadership and successful startup founders for mentorship and elevation. Over the years, it has grown into one of India's most prestigious B-School competitions, firmly capturing campus mindspace. This year's theme, 'Different by Design,' challenges participants to move beyond clichéd concepts and craft ideas that are purposefully built to stand apart. Who Should Apply T.U.P XII is open to B-School students in India from all streams and academic years, provided they are pursuing a full-time degree. Only full-time post-graduate and executive MBA students can participate. Teams of 1–4 members from the same institute and same graduating year are eligible. Competition Structure The competition unfolds in four stages: 1. Idea Submission – Submit a 3-minute pitch video. 2. Elimination Round – 3-minute video, 3-minute presentation, and 4-minute Q&A. 3. Semi-Finale – 7-minute pitch presentation and 5-minute Q&A. 4. Grand Finale – Idea Exhibition at the Reliance Innovation Marketplace followed by The Ultimate Pitch Live Competition. Prizes The total prize pool is ₹25,00,000. The Ultimate Winner receives ₹6,00,000, the Ultimate Runner-Up ₹3,00,000, and the Popular Choice Award ₹1,00,000. Additionally, 20 Elimination Round Winners receive ₹50,000 each, and 20 Elimination Round Runners-Up receive ₹25,000 each, along with T.U.P merchandise. All Semi-Finalists are offered pre-placement interviews, and National Finalists receive mentorship from in-house Reliance experts. Eligibility & Rules - Teams must consist of 1–4 members, with one designated as team leader. - All members must be from the same institute and the same graduating year. - One student cannot be part of more than one team. - Only full-time post-graduate and executive MBA students can participate. - There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute. - Plagiarised ideas will be disqualified. Idea Criteria Your idea should be 'Different by Design,' futuristic, solve a real-world need or problem, challenge conventional wisdom, be practical and scalable, and have a strong business case.
