Samvedna: A Sustainable Idea is the flagship sustainability-focused case study competition organised by Krishi Chanakya, the Agribusiness Club at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension

Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad. The competition challenges MBA students to analyse a real-world business case rooted in sustainability, social impact, or rural and agricultural development, and to build a solution that is both socially responsible and commercially sound. Who Should Apply This competition is open to all students currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from any recognised institution in India. Both participants in a team must be from the same institute. There is no restriction on the number of registrations from one institution. Format & Timeline The competition is conducted entirely online and consists of three rounds: - Round 1: Quiz — A 25-minute online quiz with 30 questions. Participants can navigate freely through the questions. - Round 2: Abstract Submission — Teams receive a case study and must submit a presentation (3–5 slides, excluding intro and thank-you slides) outlining their solution before the deadline. This is an elimination round. - Round 3: Final Round — Shortlisted teams present their solution to a panel of judges on a national platform. The decision of the panel is final. Prizes - Winner: ₹20,000 - Runner-Up: ₹15,000 - National Finalist: Certificate of recognition Eligibility Open to all MBA students. Teams of 1–2 members. Both members must be from the same institute. About the Organiser Krishi Chanakya is the Agribusiness Club at MANAGE, Hyderabad — India's premier institute for agricultural extension management.
