Udbhav'26 is a startup and innovation challenge organized by the E-Cell of the Computer Department at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering & Research (PCCOER), Pune. The competition takes

participants on a journey from identifying a real-world problem to building a working MVP and pitching their solution to a panel of judges. It follows an Open Innovation approach, giving teams complete freedom to choose their problem statement and solution domain without any predefined constraints. Who Should Apply This competition is open exclusively to students currently enrolled in colleges located in Pune. Participants from colleges outside Pune are not eligible to register. Teams can consist of 1 to 4 members, and solo participants are welcome. Format & Timeline Udbhav'26 is a two-round competition. In Round 1 (Idea + Build, online), teams identify a real-world problem, develop a startup solution, and submit a 7-slide Idea Deck along with a 2–3 minute video demonstrating their MVP. The strongest ideas and implementations are shortlisted for the offline finale. Round 2 (Shark Tank, offline) takes place at PCCOER, Pune, where shortlisted teams present their MVP and pitch their startup before a judging panel. The finale focuses on MVP demonstration, pitching, business potential, and investor-style Q&A. Prizes The total prize pool is ₹16,000, distributed as follows: Winner – ₹8,000, First Runner-Up – ₹5,000, and Second Runner-Up – ₹3,000. All winners also receive certificates. Registration & Fees Registration costs ₹100 per team. Payment is made via UPI (ID: 9172933274@ybl) and must include the team name and startup name in the format TeamNameStartupName for verification. Registration closes on 20 September 2026. Payments are non-refundable and teams cannot cancel their registration under any circumstances. About the Organiser Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering & Research (PCCOER) is a well-known engineering college in Pune. Its Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) regularly organizes events and competitions to foster innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students. Udbhav'26 is one such initiative aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world startup building. Ensure all team members are from Pune-based colleges and that the registration fee is paid as per the instructions.
