What You Get
DCIS is a grant scheme under the Champion Services Sector Scheme, implemented by TCOE India on behalf of the Department of Telecommunications. The grant is designed to fund the full telecom and digital communication value chain — research, design, development, proof-of-concept testing, IPR creation, pilot projects and manufacturing — and to bridge the gap between R&D and commercialization. Disbursement is in tranches (the site confirms that all pending tranches of DCIS beneficiaries have been cleared), and selected startups sign an agreement after approval by the DoT Apex Committee. The scheme also runs workshops, seminars and webinars that bring academia, research institutes, startups and industry together, and past cohorts show grant-funded pilot projects and IPR creation.
