ZERO ONE — Ghost in the Ledger CTF is a one-day cybersecurity capture-the-flag (CTF) event hosted in Mumbai by Cyber Unbound, in collaboration with Zeron. The event blends a competitive hacking challenge with 80s hacker nostalgia, offering a unique arena for security enthusiasts, ethical hackers, and tech professionals.

How to Participate

Online Qualifier: 1st September, open to all and beginner-friendly. Solve challenges as fast as possible to secure a spot.
Finals: 5th September in Mumbai. The top 10 teams from the qualifier receive free passes and the venue address via email.
Teams of 1–2 members. Entry is free. Registration closes on 22 August.

The Arena: "Ghost in the Ledger" Challenges span multiple domains:

Web Exploitation
Cryptography
Reverse Engineering
Digital Forensics
Binary Exploitation
AI & Agent Security
Physical / On-Site Challenges (only solvable in the room)

Speaker Sessions The event features 4–5 speaker sessions with top bug bounty hunters, CISOs, senior offensive security engineers, and community chapter leads. Expect real attack chains and career insights, not slideware. Speaker names will be announced soon.

What You Walk Out With

The "Ghost" Badge: Awarded to the top 3 teams only. Provides a permanent rank boost on the Cyber Unbound platform, visible to recruiters. Never issued again after this event.
Signed Certificates: From Zeron and Cyber Unbound for all 10 finalist teams.
Hardware Bounty: One challenge offers a physical hardware device to the first team that cracks it—a coveted item for hackers.
Additional Prizes: Physical, collectible prizes not yet announced.
Food & Drinks: Complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages all day.

Important Notes

Registering enters you into the online qualifier; only the top 10 teams advance to the finals.
The exact venue is not public and will be shared with selected teams by email.
This is a single-day event; organisers do not sponsor travel or accommodation.
The event is free from start to finish, with a maximum of 2 members per team.
Registration closes on 22 August—a hard cut-off.

About the Organisers Cyber Unbound is a cybersecurity community platform that hosts CTFs, training, and networking events for security professionals and enthusiasts. Zeron is a partner organisation contributing to the event's technical depth. Together, they aim to provide a challenging and memorable experience for the Indian cybersecurity community.
