Quick Answer
HSFDC–NSKFDC loan for Safai Karamcharis and dependents in Haryana to start an e-rickshaw or CNG auto business: up to ₹2 lakh at 6% a year over 60 months, plus a subsidy of up to ₹50,000 for eligible SC families.
About this loan
The Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) runs the Green Business Scheme with the National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC) for Safai Karamcharis (sanitation workers) and their dependents in Haryana. It funds income-generating vehicles such as an e-rickshaw or a CNG auto-rickshaw.
You can borrow up to ₹2,00,000 at 6% a year. Interest starts on the disbursement date, and after a 90-day moratorium you repay in instalments over 60 months. The loan is released in two equal instalments: 50% first, then the remaining 50% (including any subsidy). HSFDC's share is up to 10% as margin money. Scheduled Caste applicants whose annual family income verified in the Parivar Pehchan Patra is up to ₹3 lakh can also get a subsidy of up to 50% of the project cost, up to ₹50,000.
There is no income limit for the loan itself: what counts is that you are a Safai Karamchari or a dependent of one, shown by a certificate from an authorised officer. You must be a permanent resident of Haryana aged 18 to 55. For a commercial vehicle you need a driving licence that is at least two years old on the date you apply. Loans above ₹1 lakh need a guarantee (a property mortgage or a government employee as surety), and projects above ₹1 lakh need a project report. NSKFDC sanctions the loan.
