About the Competition
Presented by Goonj, the Dramatics Club of IIM Bangalore, in association with VENIX 2026, CurtainCall is a unique business case competition that blends the worlds of theatre and entrepreneurship. Participants step into the shoes of theatre producers and turnaround strategists, tackling the real-world tension between live stage performance and the age of streaming. The challenge is to pitch the boldest, most viable strategy for reviving live theatre — covering audience, actors, and revenue — before a panel of judges.
Who Should Apply
This competition is open to students from any discipline and institution, particularly those with an interest in business strategy, entertainment, arts management, or entrepreneurship. Teams of 2 to 4 members can participate.
