HACKFINITY 2026 is India's first prompt-exclusive 24-hour AI hackathon, hosted by SIMATS Engineering in Chennai. The event challenges participants to build AI solutions using prompt engineering techniques within a single day.

Winning teams share a ₹1,00,000+ rewards pool made up of cash prizes, special optimization bounties, and tech gadgets. Top performers also get direct exposure to prominent AI founders, startup incubators, and product managers scouting for elite prompt-engineering talent. During the 24-hour sprint, organizers provide fully catered meals, snacks, and collaborative working spaces, and the event is free to participate in. Teams of 2–4 work under a strict prompt-only rule, acting as AI architects who co-create functional MVPs and software using generative AI prompts rather than writing code from scratch.
