MnAnalyse 2026 is a premier Mergers & Acquisitions case competition organised by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. It offers college students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and strategic management through a challenging M&A scenario.
Who Should Apply
The competition is open to college students from diverse institutions and academic disciplines. Inter-college and inter-specialisation teams are allowed, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Format & Timeline
The competition is fully online and consists of three rounds:
- Round 1: An online quiz assessment on Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Round 2: Case study submission from 3rd August to 13th August 2026.
- Round 3: Top 10 teams present their case to a jury via an online presentation.
Participants will also have access to virtual sessions on the fundamentals of M&A conducted by industry experts.
Prizes
The total prize pool is ₹2,00,000, distributed as follows:
- Winner: ₹20,500 cash + Uplearn by Upstox Subscriptions worth ₹8,000 + Skilled Sapiens opportunities worth ₹10,000 + Finshots courses worth ₹2,500
- First Runner Up: ₹12,500 cash + Uplearn by Upstox Subscriptions worth ₹7,500 + Skilled Sapiens opportunities worth ₹5,000
- Second Runner Up: ₹7,500 cash + Uplearn by Upstox Subscriptions for 1 Year
- Others: ₹1,59,500 distributed among the next 20 teams based on merit, with Uplearn Subscriptions for 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.
Eligibility
Participants must be currently enrolled in an institute at the time of the competition. Teams of 3–5 members are allowed. One participant cannot be part of more than one team.
