Opsimius is an operations case competition organised by Opmac (the Operations Club of IIM Bangalore) as part of Venix 2026, IIM Bangalore's International Business & Entrepreneurship Summit. The competition challenges participants to apply their operations and supply chain management knowledge to solve real-world business problems.
Who Should Apply
Open to students from any discipline who have an interest in operations management, supply chain management, and business problem-solving. Teams of 2–3 members.
Format & Timeline
The competition is conducted entirely online in three rounds:
Round 1 (Quiz): 25 multiple-choice or subjective questions on Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. The quiz is 20 minutes long and conducted on the Unstop platform.
Round 2 (Case Submission): Qualified teams receive a case study and must develop a solution. Submissions must be in PPT format (max 5 slides, excluding title slide) with up to 3 additional slides or an Excel file for supporting information. Evaluation criteria: understanding of the problem, innovativeness, feasibility of the proposed solution, and clarity of thought. The top 8 teams advance to the final round.
Final Round (Presentation): Shortlisted teams present their proposal to a panel of judges. The exact timings and mode of the final presentation will be communicated closer to the festival date.
Prizes
Winners and runners-up share a total prize pool of ₹30,000.
Eligibility
Open to all students. Teams of 2–3 members. Only the team leader submits on the Unstop platform.

How to Apply
Register on the Unstop platform before the deadline. The team leader must submit the Round 2 solution on Unstop following the specified file naming convention.
