Focused on Deep Tech, Digital Inclusion, and Sustainability solutions, the program provides hands-on support through various phases, from idea validation to team building and investor pitches. What You Get
Studio by IIMA Ventures offers a unique co-building experience, providing entrepreneurs with extensive expertise, resources, and networks. The program includes structured phases like Thesis Sprint and Design Sprint, entrepreneurial workshops, and crucial market linkages. Participants gain exclusive access to IIMA Ventures' investor network, including Funds, Family Offices, and HNIs, with an opportunity to pitch for equity investment. As part of the program, IIMA Ventures receives 8-10% equity upon incorporation (as mentoring equity) and an additional 5% upon investment (conditional to IC approval). Entrepreneurs also receive a comprehensive resource package, valued at over US$500,000, from its vendor ecosystem, covering various operational and technical needs.

Selection Process
Applications are rigorously reviewed by the IIMA Ventures team to identify individuals at the pre-ideation or early thesis-building stage who are open to a collaborative co-building approach. The selection process focuses on identifying entrepreneurs with a strong drive to build, a foundational concept, and the flexibility to benefit from structured guidance and hands-on support. Emphasis is placed on aligning with the program's focus sectors: Deep Tech, Digital Inclusion, and Sustainability. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for further assessments, including interviews or pitch presentations, to evaluate their potential and fit within the Studio by IIMA Ventures ecosystem.

Do I need to relocate to participate in the program?
While some in-person sessions may be required, much of the program can be conducted remotely. We understand the importance of flexibility for entrepreneurs and strive to accommodate different working arrangements.
How long is the program, and what are its key phases?
The program is structured into several key phases over six months. Starting with Thesis Sprint (3 months), where we work with EIRs to validate their ideas through deep-dives/strategy sessions. Next is Design Sprint (Months 4-6), focusing on building the venture’s core team, testing the initial concept with early adopters, and preparing for a Demo Day where startups present to a network of investors and industry partners.
How much equity does IIMA Ventures take in exchange for participating in the program?
IIMA Ventures receives 8–10% equity upon incorporation of your venture (as mentoring equity) and an additional 5% upon investment, conditional to an IC approval.
