About this subsidy
Under the Healthcare & Ayush care Investment Policy 2020, a qualifying venture gets 100% of its freight charges subsidised, up to ₹30 lakh per year, for transportation of material within the country.
Full reimbursement is unusual — most freight schemes cover a share — and it is aimed squarely at the geography problem: J&K units sit far from national supplier and buyer markets, so inbound raw material and outbound product both carry a distance penalty that this removes up to the annual ceiling.
