About this subsidy
Alongside the one-time working capital subsidy, the J&K Wool Processing, Handloom & Handicraft Policy 2020 gives handloom units an export subsidy.
The subsidy is to the extent of 10% of the total volume of handloom products, and is available to the same class of units — those utilising local resources for the production and marketing of handloom products.
J&K handloom exports (Pashmina, tweed, woollen shawls and stoles) compete against far larger power-loom origins, and the policy states the rate without a rupee ceiling, so the benefit rises directly with the export volume you can build.

What You Get
An export subsidy to the extent of 10% of the total volume of handloom products. The policy states the rate without a rupee ceiling, so the incentive scales with export volume. It is available to units utilising local resources for the production and marketing of handloom products — the same eligibility class as the working capital subsidy, so most units can claim both.
