About this subsidy
Under the Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021-30, a unit that installs pollution control devices can claim 60% of the cost, capped at ₹50 lakh — the largest of the policy's equipment-linked subsidies.
The condition: the same devices must not already have been claimed under CII or a similar scheme. Effluent treatment plants, scrubbers, and similar mandated environmental equipment are the typical spend this covers, and at 60% it materially changes the payback on compliance capex.
All industries in the UT, including commercial and institutional units, are covered.
