About this subsidy
The Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Policy – 2020 offers the tourism sector a one-time assistance of up to 25% of the cost of procuring the equipment or of content creation, or Rs 2 lac, whichever is less.
This is the equipment-and-content half of the policy's ICT incentive: it helps a tourism business fund the digital kit and the marketing content it needs to sell itself online — booking systems, cameras, display and AV equipment, or professionally produced destination content.
Because the assistance is explicitly one time, it is claimed once against the procurement rather than annually. Spend above Rs 8 lac gains nothing extra, since 25% of that already hits the Rs 2 lac ceiling.

What You Get
A one time assistance of up to 25% of the cost of procuring ICT equipment or of content creation, or Rs 2 lac, whichever is less. It covers the digital equipment and marketing content a tourism business needs to reach travellers online. Because the cap is the lower of the two figures, spend beyond Rs 8 lac adds nothing further — 25% of that already reaches the Rs 2 lac ceiling. It is claimed once, through the J&K Single Window process.
