About this subsidy
Under clause 3.4.1.ii of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024, Micro, Small and Medium Industrial Units set up in Meghalaya can claim a State Capital Investment Incentive worth 30% of their qualifying capital outlay.
Manufacturing units count the cost of plant and machinery. Services-sector units count construction of building and installation of other durable physical assets.
The subsidy is capped at Rs 10 crore for units in the Priority Sectors identified by the policy and Rs 8 crore for all other units.
