Units in Meghalaya get 100% of employer EPF contributions reimbursed for 3 years — 4 for women employees — on local-domicile staff.
About this subsidy
Clause 3.4.8.i.a of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024 reimburses all units 100% of the employer's contribution to the Employees' Provident Fund for a period of 3 years from the commencement of commercial production or operations, with an additional 1 year for women employees.
Only employees who are domiciles of Meghalaya count. Reimbursement is subject to a maximum ceiling of 12% of the employee's basic salary plus applicable dearness allowance and retaining allowance, or Rs 1800 per month, whichever is lower.

What You Get
The state refunds the whole of the employer's EPF contribution for employees who are domiciles of Meghalaya — for three years from the start of commercial production or operations, and four years in the case of women employees. Each employee's reimbursement is capped at 12% of basic salary plus applicable dearness allowance and retaining allowance, or Rs 1800 per month, whichever is lower. It is open to units of every size, which makes it one of the broadest incentives in MIIPP 2024.
