About this subsidy
Clause 3.4.7.ii.a of the Meghalaya Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (MIIPP) 2024 reimburses Micro and Small Units 100% of the capital cost of drawing an 11 KV and above power line, including the cost of transformers, subject to a maximum limit of Rs 10 lakhs.
For a unit setting up away from an existing high-tension line, this removes one of the larger one-off connection costs entirely up to the ceiling.
