About this Opportunity

This program, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is part of the broader Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) initiative. The primary goal is to help ICT-based startups scale their Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

It is a 12-month incubation program at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, providing:

A ₹7 Lakhs grant for one year for MVP development.
Incubation support at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.
Opportunities to pitch for seed funding upon program completion.

The TIDE 2.0 program aims to strengthen 2000 Technology Startups leveraging ICT enabled technologies in selected areas of national concern.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Individual / team should have a Proof of Concept (PoC).
The solution must be ICT enabled and address a pressing need in domains of national priority such as: Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Financial inclusion including digital payments, Infrastructure and transportation, Environment and clean tech, Clean energy solutions, or Other emerging areas.
At-least one member from the team should be willing to pursue the idea full time.
Cannot be combined with fellowship / grant / seed fund from other funding organizations.
