S&T-PRISM (Promotion of Research and Innovation in Startups and MSMEs in Mining, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy and Recycling Sector)

The Science and Technology Programme for Promoting Research and Innovation in Startups and MSMEs in Mining, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy and Recycling Sector (S&T-PRISM) of the Ministry of Mines aims to promote innovation and research in the mineral and mining sector. It provides financial support in the form of grants to startups, MSMEs, and individual innovators to enable them to develop functional prototypes or productize existing technologies. The scheme aims to bridge the gap between R&D and commercialization. Startups in the stage from proof of concept to commercialization can apply.
