About this subsidy
The Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025 puts capital behind cleaner discharge. A new MSME can claim a capital subsidy of up to 50% for the construction and installation of Effluent Treatment Plants, Zero Liquid Discharge systems and other wastewater recycling facilities, subject to an upper limit of Rs 10 lakh.
It is aimed squarely at units whose process generates liquid effluent, and it pairs naturally with the policy's separate pollution-control-device subsidy. The unit must be within five years of commencing production.
