About this subsidy
Mizoram's distance from the manufacturing hubs makes freight a real line item when you are equipping a factory. The Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025 refunds half of it: 50% of the actual cost of transporting plants and machineries by railway, by road, or by a combination of the two.
The clause states no rupee ceiling, so the benefit scales with your actual freight bill. The unit must claim within one year from the date of commencement of production, which in practice means filing soon after the machines are installed and running.
