About this subsidy
Under the Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025, the Government of Mizoram reserves a minimum of 25% of its annual procurement for Micro and Small Enterprises registered and operational within the State.
The qualifying condition is local employment: the enterprise must employ at least 70% local workforce. For a small manufacturer or service provider, this is a demand-side incentive rather than a cash one — it creates a protected slice of government orders you can bid into, and it pairs with the policy's price preference, tender fee and EMD exemptions for the same class of MSEs.
